We are sent here to overcome it, because to rule over something, you must first conquer it. The unlearned are the ones who say this is not Hell, because they still enjoy living in this Hell. They would rather be here in Hell, than to be in heaven with the Lord God. If one will truly ask the Lord God for the reason and purpose of life, he will find out it is to make the exchange. This is when we realize that our (self) is the evil spirit, the serpent– (repents) that led us into sin and we must lay him, the old man down to die, so that the resurrection of the dead will happen within us.
